Copenhagen, Denmark

And one more card for today which I have in my collection thanks to Genek.... and myself.

You may know or you may not know, in September last year I did a one day trip to Copenhagen. The fact that you may not have been informed about it through a postcard, is the ridiculously high postage rate... probably the most expensive one I have experienced so far (even worse than my last trip, whose postcards are on their way :P)

Anyways, it was great to see Copenhagen and even lovelier to meet Genek, even though the weather did play trick on us. However, that didn't ruin our experience of the Danish capital.
And out of the entire city, the colourful Nyhavn probably was my favourite spot!

Nyhavn, ninja style

Nyhavn is a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district, stretching from Kongens Nytorv to the harbour front just south of the Royal Playhouse, lined by brightly coloured 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. It also harbours many historical wooden ships
It was constructed by King Christian V from 1670 to 1673, dug by Swedish prisoners of war from the Dano-Swedish War 1658–1660. It is a gateway from the sea to the old inner city a King's Square, where ships handled cargo and fishermens' catch.
It was notorious for beer, sailors, and prostitution. Danish author Hans Christian Andersen lived at Nyhavn for some 18 years.
The first bridge across Nyhavn, which was a temporary wooden footbridge, opened on 6 February 1875. It was replaced by the current bridge in 1912.

                                                                    And, say cheese!

A nice rose on the stamp (even though Im not a flower person), from a set of 5 stamps issued in 2018.

So, lets close the post for today. Wishing you all a nice week and a nice February!

Vienna, Austria

Seems that winter days are back =/ Not that we had had any actual winter, but after some days of beautiful sunshine and nice temperatures, it is all gray and dark and rainy and cold again...blah :((
So being that I don't have that many obligations today and the weather is kinda begging you to stay indoors (not difficult to convince me at all), here comes another update, and today it is all dedicated to Postcrossing meeting cards :)
I have received a lot of these over the years, I have already posted some before, some are still left to see the light of the blog, but for today I have randomly chosen the following, most of which arrived during last year.

Will open this with one of the many cards I have received from Anita and from the meetings that have been taking place in Austria. And most of the time they have some specially designed cards for the event, like the one you can see here, where the Postcrossing meeting was merged with a book fair in Vienna - now how perfect is that? Books and postcards! And I'm pretty sure there were cakes somewhere in the story as well :)

I have never really asked who is the designer behind these cards, but now that I think about it, it might be Anita itself actually :) And I am really happy that I had the chance to meet her recently during my one day trip to Graz where from what I thought would be a cup of coffee, turned out into a lovely day well-spent! She really made sure we feel welcome and cosy in Graz!

On the back of course you can see the signatures, where I recognize like just half of the usernames. However, I am delighted with the stamp! Falco! Can't believe it it's been 20 years since he had died (speaking of deaths, today I learned that Stalone has moved into a different world as well...actually seems like a lot of famous people have already said goodbye to this world already this year and one that truly saddened me was when I heard last week that Jóhann Jóhannsson died too =/)

The Falco stamp was issued last year, commemorating 60 years since his birth. And besides the great stamp, the cancellation is also very interesting, though I am not exactly sure if it is supposed to represent something special or no - I see the name of Lustenau given, along with its postcode.

Thanks a lot lot to Anita for this one and all the other lovely cards she has surprised my mailbox with.

Kinsey's Locomotives, USA

Next is a meeting card from over the pond! And I just realized that the majority of meeting cards I receive are from Europe, and rarely something coming from a different continent. I guess I just don't know the right people :D

But I surely know the right person for this one :P It is from the meeting in Seattle that took place last July the 30th and the guilty one why I have this card is of course Bryon :) And he made sure to enrich my train cards' collection as well :)
The card shows the Heisler locomotive (rebuilt and regauged by Heisler Locomotive Works) in Redmond, Washington in 1922.

Now I do not really recognize the majority of the usernames, but I do see that people had fun with leaving coffee marks on this one... I wonder why :D They were even kind enough to explicitly tell me about the origin of the stain, so you can see a cappuccino, an americano, a chai and something jam-filled - I guess it is some kind of a cake we are talking about :)

As for the stamps - the red pear definitive was issued in 2017, as well as the sharks ones, which come from a set of 5 (showing the Great White Shark and the Mako Shark), and also we have a stamp commemorating the bicentennial of the American Revolution, issued in 1971.

Well thank you Bryon very much

Porto, Portugal

Next is a card that dear Marta sent me from a small meeting held in Porto on November 11th, last year.

If there is something typical about Portugal, it is all these beautifully decorated tiles and these can actually be seen at the São Bento Railway Station! That is really thoughtful Marta! Thank you so much!

There are approximately 20,000 azulejo tiles, dating from 1905–1916, and were composed by Jorge Colaço, an important painter of azulejo of the time. You can see different scenes, events, and personalities depicted on these walls, like the Battle of Arcos de Valdevez and Egas Moniz before Alfonso VII of Castile, D. João I in Oporto, with his fiancé and the Conquest of Ceuta,  the Battle of Valdevez, a meeting between the knight Egas Moniz and Alfonso VII of León in Toledo etc etc etc.

there is even a train sticker on the back of the card :D The stamp is from a set of 4 issued in 2017, representing Trees of the Mediterranean. This one shows a strawberry tree or Arbutus unedo.

Muito obrigada Marta!

Antwerpen, Belgium

The one before the last is a card from a mini meeting in Antwepen that took place on August 7th, 2015.

The card was sent by dear Valentina, who often surprises me with something in the mailbox :)
The card shows St. James' Church, a former Collegiate church in Antwerp, built on the site of a hostel for pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela. The present building is the work of the Waghemakere family and Rombout Keldermans, in Brabantine Gothic style. The church contains the grave of Rubens in the eastern chapel.

The guy on the left, Karel van de Woestijne, is from a set of 4 Culture Edition stamps issued in 1978, while King Albert should be from 1998.

Thank you so much for thinking of me Valentina!

Helsinki, Finland

And one more meeting card for today, which is from one of the bigger PC meetings regularly organized out there, and Helsinki is one of those places where some of the International meetings have taken place. I still haven't attended a bigger meeting and on one hand it makes me sad, on the other hand I wonder if people actually have time to chat or is it all just writing and signing postcards... I mean even with the mini-meetings I have been a part of, it is insane how much time the writing/signing cards consumes, let alone an International meeting with dozens of people attending :)

This is from a meeting in Helsinki, that took place on August 3rd, 2013, and I would have to thank Jetske for making sure I received one of these calm winter scenes of Helsinki  :)

And here also the Postcrossing Parents have attended and signed my card, so it is even more special to have received this one. The adorable stamp is from a set of 3 Garden Berries' stamps issued in 2013.

Thank you dear Jetske for the card  ! And to the rest of you for reading! Enjoy the week ahead - hopefully the weather will be on your side :)

Johor Strait Lighthouse, Singapore

Last for today is this beautiful Singaporean lighthouse, which I realized I have twice in my collection.

The first one was sent by Valentina from the Postcrossing meeting in Singapore held in July that year. Out of ll the names, I could only recognize that Lee Hock Peng and sybones attended as well.
The other card arrived as an official last year.

There are only 6 operating lighthouses in Singapore today, and this is one of them. The Johor strait is an international strait between Singapore and mainland Malaysia. Unfortunately google didnt prove very useful regarding this one, except that the lighthouse is Located at the end of a jetty at the Raffles Marina in Tuas, just west of the Second Link Expressway bridge over the strait and that there is a white flash every 10 seconds, and that it has a 12 m round cylindrical concrete tower with lantern and gallery, painted white. The navigation light is mounted atop the lantern.

Very useful google, indeed..

The stamps from Valentina's card show two from the Vanishing Trades series - first is one from 2014, showing a cage maker, while the other one is from 2013, showing a lantern maker (such crafts and trades have been vanishing from Macedonia as well...)

The other stamp is from 2017 from a set of 6 stamps called 'Morning of Singapore'. Well mornings usually relate to rush hours and chaos - this one seems to be rather calm so I guess it relates to one during the weekends :)))

Thanks to Valentina and deezee for this card, and to everyone signing it at the PC meeting, and thanks to you for dropping by.
Till next time...

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkey

Ok, just one more card for today...I don't wanna be overwhelming you so much, but just thought I'd post this one since after I posted this FDC, I recalled I should have another Atatürk card somewhere, and i wasn't mistaken :)

Well, today it is like 135 years since Atatürk's birth, the most worshiped man of Turkey.
I have already done a post about him here, so I wouldn't be repeating myself. However, I wanted to share with you a video which is kinda related to him since among else, Atatürk' introduced a new alphabet for the written Turkish language based on a modified Latin alphabet.
The new Turkish alphabet would serve as a replacement for the old Arabic script and as a solution to the literacy problem in Turkey. On 1 November 1928 he introduced the new Turkish alphabet and abolished the use of Arabic script. At the time, literate citizens of the country comprised as little as 10% of the population.
After the introduction of the new alphabet, it is said that the literacy has reached 70%!

Here is the video I had mentioned, referring to the Turkish language.

the stamp was issued in 2009 and is a joint issue between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ok, that would be all for today. Ok, I admit I'm in a bit of a hurry, meeting some friends in a while.
Anyways, hope you liked today's choice :)

So long!

Train Postcrossing Meeting, Romania

This next card was a thrill to receive, a thrill!!

You know that like almost every day there is a Postcrossing meeting happening somewhere around the world, a big one or a mini one...and I have received a number of such surprises so far and they are always a delight, knowing that someone has thought of you...most of those go unnoticed, at least I don't really read any information about them happening...however, this Postcrossing meeting in Romania turned out to be a big deal...maybe you have heard about it, maybe you haven't (you can read all about it at the Postcrossing blog here...but it was like the first Postcrossing meeting...ON A TRAIN! And on top of that, they had printed a specially designed postcard for this...when I saw it somewhere on Facebook, my jaw dropped...
Well in general I don't really ask people to send me a card from a meeting since I believe these should be a surprise, so in this case as well, I kept my silence but deep down I was like bummed since I honestly didn't really believe someone would send me a card from this meeting....and then one day last week I was proven so wrong...I can't even explain to you my sheer shock and thrill when I found a card from the meeting in my mailbox...and all that thanks to Danut who remembered I love trains, and thought I'd like this card....you bet I would!! I was delighted!! It was like receiving a card from some brand new country...yes, that's how happy and thrilled I was...and still am!

here you can see the signatures....and frankly speaking I cannot decipher the majority of them...I don't know if the have just signed or used their PC usernames as well...but I am clueless.

The stamp was issued in 2015 and represent's Angel's tears....behind which there is actually a sad story...the stamp was issued after a tragedy that has happened at one of the nightclubs in Bucharest, where during a free concert, band's pyrotechnics, consisting of sparkler firework candles, ignited the club's flammable polyurethane acoustic foam, and a fire had spread rapidly. 36 people had died and 147 were injured...with this stamp, the Roman post wanted to show support to those who have suffered, supporting the medical recovery process of the victim's of the tragedy...just as Danut, I also wonder if money were really used for that purpose or not...

Thanks again a million to Danut for this most awesome surprise!

Lesson learnt - never lose hope....and avoid places where indoors they use outdoor pyrotechnics....

Belgrade Meetings, Serbia

My last post was supposed to be about the Postcrossing Meeting in Belgrade last year...but I realized I had not posted the cards from the previous years, so I thought I'd include them as well...therefore it will be all cards, no pictures (plus I haven't asked for the consent from the others if I could post them here, since I am not alone on any of those :))

So this last meeting was a really good one, since we were quite a few...it was Ana, Renato, Aleksa (Renato's son), Jelena...and for the first time we got the chance to meet Milan - a great guy, and also Liza from Latvia joined us since she was in Belgrade those days (I had met her before here in Skopje, so it was great to see her again :)) I just really missed Judit this time....

The postcard was written at a place called Caruso - on the 8th floor :)

You know it has become a challenge to find some new view-cards of Belgrade, but I always manage...and from what I realized, there are different stamps on each of these cards (for this I would have to thank my dear partner in crime :))

Also after over two years, I got to see my dearest cousin Aleksandra...she actually made me company at the Book Fair, and later Liza joined us as well....speaking of the Book Fair, I finally got my copy of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams...and also this book by the Serbian author Svetislav Basara, "The Cyclist Conspiracy"....whichever of these two you lay your hands on, give it a read!
Well, I also got back with these most awesome pairs of earrings ❤

I got the Little Prince ones from my dear partner in crime...and she actually showed me this place which is like heaven for this kind of jewelry!

the stamp here was issued in 2013, in a set of four Orchid stamps - this one is called Cymbidium Fort George

Next is a card from the 2014 meeting...

...and it shows one of the first petrol stations in Belgrade, around 1934.

It was just Judit, Ana and me at this meeting...but that doesn't mean we didn't have a great time :))

I think I finally bought Brave New World this time, by Huxley...and dont know what else I stocked myself up with - this is what happens when I dont do my updates in time...I think it might be "Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage" by Murakami......I think...

two beautiful stamps!!! Issued in 2007 in a set of 8 stamps representing Flora, Landscapes and Tourist Attractions - on these two you can see the Zapadna Morava river (left) and Kopaonik (right)

Next is the 2013 meeting...and actually two cards from this one...

according to the signatures, it is me, Ana, Renato Judit, Jelena who attended...and for the first time Snježana from Bosnia joined us...and seems we have overdosed ourselves with cakes here...since what I have on the back of the card says 'crunch cake', 'mini plazma-almond cookie' 'mini-hazelnut cookie'...but I think that a good deal of this was smudged on some postcards....:P

If I'm not mistaken, this was the year when I got "Kafka on the Shore" by Murakami - probably like my all time favourite by him until now...I must have bought something else too...but have no idea...maybe it was "You and Me" by Ammaniti...or that was the year before...well either way, both of the books are way too awesome!

a cute stamp from set of two "Joy of Europe" stamps issue in 2013

and a card that Renato designed...with a funny slip...since the English version says it is the 3rd PC meeting, but the Serbian translation says 2nd....yeah, trying to make you think something's wrong with you and you are seeing things :)))

To make it clear, it is the third one...and btw, if you are into Haiku...or even if you are not into Haiku, you can check Renato's book here - Haiku by Renato

issued in a set of two stamps in 2013, under the name European Nature Protection

and back to 2012

meeting attended by me, Ana, Judit and Renato....the card shows the Memorial  Centre of Josip Broz Tito....but I won't go nostalgic now...
Which books I got this time...I of course have NO bloody idea....

the stamp was issued in 2008 in a set of two Nature stamps, with this one representing the Devil's City (or Đavolja Varoš in Serbian)

Now this last card is not from one of those regular Postcrossing meetings, but an extra one that happened on April 27th 2012, when dear Nastya was in Belgrade, so I went there to see her and Ana...and I must admit it I also used this meeting as a chance to get my Mexican Visa (that I would use later that summer), since the Mexican Embassy is in Belgrade...nobody knew about it, so this meeting kinda covered as a perfect excuse...but that is one of those times when stars align and the times overlapped....sometimes things really happen for a reason...

the card shows the Main Railway Station in Belgrade, and the photo dates back to 1958

and a matching stamp! :) Issued in 2009 in a set of two stamps commemorating the 125th Anniversary of the Railroad in Serbia.

Phewwww! I think I am finally done here!! Boy that was soo much babbling, my keyboard hurts :)

I hope it wasn't too annoying...I understand if you dont feel like reading through it all...but I hope you at least enjoyed the cards, stamps and the pictures :)

Now I seriously think I need a break!!

Marina Bay, Singapore

This card arrived as a surprise earlier this year from Valentina who had the chance to attend a PC meeting in Singapore...and im really glad that she thought of me and got to send me a card...I love receiving meeting cards...they feel so special! :)

Frankly I think I recognize just one more name on the card...but then again I haven't really been in touch with many people from Singapore so I barely know any.
The card shows the Marina Bay...and since I had once posted about it, I won't be boring you again with it, but you can just check the post here if you want...

a nice stamp issued in 2011 in a set of four stamps representing Areas of Historical Significance in Singapore...this one is called Joo Chiat and is a residential conservation area in the eastern part of Singapore.

SG-61267

Another card of the Marina Bay...this one arrived as an official back in 2012

two more lovely stamps, again issued in 2011...these are from a set of eight Fauna stamps, representing the Life in the Pond; the stamp on the left shows the White Collared Kingfisher, while the other one shows the Ornate Coraltail.

Belgrade, Serbia

...and a week later, the concert in Belgrade was on schedule...unlike the one in Sofia, here I stayed for a few days with my uncle, and his family, so it was also a great way to enjoy some bits and pieces of lovely Belgrade..the bronchitis was still nasty though...I could perfectly tell it when i was running for the first row..I could barely catch my breath...but thank God my cousin did her job perfectly well (well it was me who convinced her we should get fan pit tickets and get early at the venue...and she never regretted that ;-))

another awesome performance by DM...and for me, better than the one in Sofia...it wasn't raining for starters...and somehow I felt emotionally different...and when the concert ended I just started crying..unlike in Sofia when I was just 'oh wow, that was great'...I didn't get that emotional cos I was aware that another concert is coming...but now in Belgrade I was all like 'damn, this is the last one, I won't see them again...won't get the chance to experience all this again...yeah, like a girly teenager who has a crush on some celebrity...just that here I have a crush on an entire band and their music...and such a farewell is much harder to deal with..blah blah blah...:)

Well, once the concert was over, Belgrade brought a bunch of more chill out and relaxing moments...I just love going to the city centre...sitting down in some cafe..munching on some cake or pizza or slurping down some nice coffee or shake...and just observing the people around...something that for some reason i never feel comfortable doing here, but abroad it's all fine...stupid mentality id say

Belgrade inevitably brings some evil acts and attacks with my partner in crime...and this time was no exception, te-he-he :D

And of course, had to shoot a missile my way as well...was wondering what would be the most appropriate...and in the end I chose this card because it does show the place where the concert was held...I mean, what more could I have asked for? Plus, it wasn't that easy to find a Belgrade card I don't already have, khm khm khm :))
So here I can remind myself that i was eating a marzipan cake during this meeting...yumm yumm yummie...at least my partner in crime has resisted smudging some cake over the card...as we have the habit to do sometimes :P :D

The downside...as time was passing by, I was getting better and better...barely any traces of my bronchitis...and...regrets started of why I havent booked a ticket to Zagreb...Zagreb was few days later...and I could have simply gotten on the bus or train in Belgrade and go there..but nope, I missed the opportunity...first the excuse was, ok Ana, set some limits, two concerts are enough...then it was, well, no, two concerts are not enough, but in this condition, I rather be home...and of course, another wasted opportunity...down to this day I still regret the decision, but oh well, I'll know better next time...hoping that there will be a next time :)

I still cant believe it that I got to hear "Only when I lose myself" live...it was like a dream come true..since this is the only one of the concerts that I attended, where Martin performed this one...sorry for the audience noise..but that's how things go with such concert videos...for an amateur video, the quality of the picture is great..not too much shaking or anything

of course, the card came with a stamp...I may be rambling here about concerts and all, but lets not forget the stamps...this one comes with the 2013 Lunar horoscope issue, for the Year of the Snake

hugs to my partner in crime for the great time spent...and all those fun evil plans :D

Pottinger Street, Hong Kong

this lovely surprise arrived from dear Iris who thought of me during a Hong Kong PC meet-up held on 18 March this year.

Here you can see the Pottinget Street, or Stone step street, one of the oldest streets in the central district.
It is made of stone steps and is named after the 1st Governor of Hong Kong, inclining from Caine Road to Hollywood Road and down to Queen's Road Central (ok, that's what the back of the card says, I dont really know of what importance are those other streets...if any). The traditional stalls you can see here sell ribbons, bows and buttons and neighboured with the modern buildings, this is where the old and the new, charmingly mix.

Can you spot the tourists?
I love such scenes, and im pretty sure i would find something interesting to buy here, even if i dont really need it...too charming to resist it :)

the stamp was issued in 2011, commemorating the 150th Anniversary of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. thank you so much dear for thinking of me! <3

The First Postcrossing Meeting in Belgrade

well, ok...you should all know by now about the first postcrossing meeting that was held in Belgrade on 29 October 2011...if you dont know about it, you should probably blame your postman :)

It came too spontaneously, but turned out great...the only remark would be the lack of time :)
And one of the most special things about this meeting was the special postcard design we had, done by Renato. A really unique card, representing all the participants (by their usernames) and all that nicely arranged according to the country they were coming from! Can you spot me? :P
Personally I addressed way too many cards...and I have no idea how many we signed in total, but it was a LOT LOT LOT!!! Well, after all, it was the first meeting :)
Unfortunately, I didnt manage to send as many cards as I had originally planned...the time simply didnt allow it, and funny but after the postcard shopping, I ended up writing out ALL of the cards, even though I planned to bring back some home...so do the math :)
If you hadnt gotten a card from this meeting and you are sure your postman is the most reliable guy on Earth, then let us know for next time :)

and somehow this post was perfect to present this fantastic map card of Yugoslavia...it was sent to me by Renato as well, a few months before the meeting. Here all the former republics of Yugoslavia can be seen with their respective flags...and this is somewhat what our meeting was about...postcrossers from different parts of  former Yugoslavia...unfortunately, Montenegro, BiH and Slovenia were missing, but we wholeheartedly hope that on the next meeting, at least one representative from each republic would be present. Ill do my best to fill in the Macedonian spot :)
Renato used a really nice definitive from a set of 8 issued in 2007 with this one representing Kopaonik.

A big hug to all my PC meeting friends, and of course, to the ones who couldnt make it this time :)

Traditional Past Time Games With Upin & Ipin and Friends

My next card for today was sent by dear Lyan from the recent postcrossing meeting in Kuala Lumpur, held on 19.12.2010.
Have I told you that I LOVE getting meeting cards? Yeah, I have, I know...but I just wanted to say it again...they really feel special :)

And the card is just lovely....the image feels soo realistic and so vibrant!
These cards were published during the stamps week (at the time of the meeting), and they were inspired from local popular children TV show Upin & Ipin and friends, and each card has a matching stamp, representing the characters playing a traditional game (there are 6 different sets of cards and stamps altogether).
Ive never heard of Upin and Ipin, but here is a chance to learn something new.
And I got the card where they are playing Congkak, which is a mancala game played in the island of Borneo, Singapore, and Peninsular Malaysia. As the congkak board is shaped like a boat it is believed that it is based on the legend of a fisherman unable to go to the sea during rainy season who lost his income during this time. To prevent boredom he created this game which is similar to his boat. However, on the island of Java, the board often has a dragon head at each end and the sides of the board (which is made of wood) are carved to look like reptile scales.
The Congkak board has fourteen holes in two sets of seven, plus an additional store for each player. Each player controls the seven holes on their side of the board, and their score is the number of seeds in their left-hand store. The pieces are 98 undifferentiated seeds and the objective of the game is to capture more seeds than one's opponent.

Aaah, I LOVE board games....but it's been so long since I played one....seems like all the fun board games have gotten their computer counterpart, so everyone plays these games on the computers not on real boards and real friends....which is really a pity.

and here is the matching stamp....a self-adhesive one.  Just lovely, isnt it???

Thanks a lot again to Lyan for thinking of me during this meeting and sending such a lovely card!!

Australia

A card from Down Under...where summer is approaching....

And...I got this card as an absolute surprise...sent to me from the First Postcrossing meeting in Adelaide, which took place on 10.10.2010 (cool, eh?:))....and...apart from the fact that I LOVE receiving cards from PC meetings, since it shows that someone has thought of me...this card feels extra special coz it was Vicki herself who thought of me!!! You may wonder, who's Vicki....but if I tell you, it was Mundoo herself, then that should give you a clearer idea....now if you have no idea who Mundoo is, then you are probably not a part of the forum and have never been there....so it would be pointless to go into further explanations since it wont really make any difference to you either way :)
But to me it does...and im more than happy and grateful that she thought of me...and i wanna thank also the other people who had put their signatures on the card...glenasena, gracefool, crizle, apty, maggie 05....

Cute koala stamp...issued in 2009 in a set of 4 stamps, representing Australian Bush Babies.

Cappadocia, Turkey

A Fantastic card I got from the Turkish Postcrossing meeting in June, which among else was signed by two very dear people of mine, Pinar and Leslie.

And they sent me a great UNESCO card, showing Cappadocia, which is a region in Central Turkey in the Göreme valley. The name was traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history and is still widely used as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage.

and just please take a look at these very very very special stamps chosen just for me! Trains!! The comprise a set of stamps issued in 2006 regarding the 150th Anniversary of Turkish Railways.

Thank you sooooooo much my dear ladies for this fantastic card and thanks to everyone else who had attended the meeting and signed it as well! I love it!
