Singapore

This is my actually first ever postcard from Singapore...but...there is always a but...its not addressed to me, but it was sent to my aunt by her travelling friend...so thats why i more consider as my first Singaporean postcard, the first one addressed to me... i had already posted this one in the oldish posts, but since it was just image, i pulled it out and it comes in handy to post it now...and make a variety among the cards.

My aunts friend (who is called Savica btw....i think i should call her by her name, instead of 'my aunts friend' coz first of all, its shorter, second it feels better...
Anyway....Savica says that Singapore, the city of lions is beautiful and that its very clean and there are lots of people and crowds on the streets, as well as that its very hot...well from what I know according to Relie, it IS very hot indeed...i wonder what Relie would do if she came to stay in Macedonia....its 0 degrees at the time of writing this.
She also says that people are very kind and ear and that there is a lot to be seen and to be bought...she calls Singapore, the shopping paradise. Well....too bad im not into shopping, otherwise i would have booked my ticket and head to Singapore straightway...well, at least i would visit Relie :)

Ok, i think im gonna have a nap...i feel really tired in general...i need to recharge myself for a bit...wishing you a great upcoming weekend everyone!

The Gorge Amphiteatre, USA

I got this one from  Charity who in July 2006, saw Pearl Jam here, two nights in a row...yay!! Maybe not my absolute favourites, but definitely one of my favourite bands....Black always gives me the shivers and makes me long for the past and for 'all that could have been'...but now thats a totally different song...by NIN...funny though, they are related in some way...at least to me....

Anyhow...The Gorge Amphiteatre (which i keep mistyping as George) was voted the Best Amphiteatre in North America by the Pollstar Magazine. The Pacific Northwest's premier enterteinment venue carved in the basalt cliffs, surrounded by mountain vistas, lush green grass and the rolling Columbia River.

This AGAIN makes me think that my whole DM concert going is still on status quo and apart from making me feel annoyed, right now im as well worried....hmmmmm

Bieszczady Mountains, Poland

Another postcard moved forward from the older ones...

....and as well, another postcard from a former pen-friend (Przemek Gorski from Poland) with whom my communication has gone to hell....i really wonder why do i have to be such a lousy penpal...and why am i sooooo lazy when i need to get down to writing letters/emails...coz I actually WANT to do it...but i always have zillion of excuses of why i cant do it at the particular moment...and while im spending time on excuses, time passes by and passes by and passes by...and well, the outcome is obvious...

Ha! Should I label this under maps as well?? coz it has a small map in the bottom...hmm, yeah I will...why not...

Barcelona, Spain (03)

A friend of mine brought this one to me from her honeymoon...

Its a friend I can say ive practically known for my entire life..we went to kindergarden together...we went to primary school together, in the same class...got separated during high-school, and without any intentional purpose, we ended up together at university...and i was something like a bridesmaid at her wedding! :)
Well, i sometimes think that for such traditional events, we have way too much people involved, and im not really certain what are their corresponding English equivalents...or if the English vocabulary has ANY in the first place...but well, at least you get the picture :)

Just that, now this made me wonder if she had ever dropped by at this blog or no...i havent really been going with a fluorescent ad around my neck about it....and i dont think she has ever mentioned something about it (like a comment, critic, question...)...so my guess is 'no'....well, if she ever gets to comment on this card, means she had seen it :P

Halifax, Canada

From Charity Fraser, in Canada

She sent me this when she went there for her anniversary. She said that Halifax is a great city, that the downtown has some really great stores and awesome pubs!

Halifax's waterfront is a popular tourist spot with wooden structures of 18th century Halifax blending in with modern highrise buildings and the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site.

Budva, Montenegro (01)

My mum sent me this one

Its an interesting card, regarding its shape...i like unusually shaped cards...what i dont like is that the card looks so small when uploaded....why do horizontal cards always look smaller, while vertical ones look so huge?

and i know there was a way to remove that 'border' around the card, coz its makes the actual shape get somewhat lost...but i cant find the 'tutorial' now of how it was done...i know i had done it with other pictures...so im not hallucinating..
