Bahamas

Next is a really cool Bahamas card from the JP fairy ;-)
Interesting, I acquired a nice number of Bahamas cards last year...all written and stamped, but not until now have shown a single one of them...so here we go

the back of the card says:
"A popular Bahamian saying goes..."May you always have sand in your shoes and a dollar in your pocket"
The Bahamian Dollar is on par with the US Dollar. The $3 bill and the 15¢ coin make great souvenirs.

Ok, I have something to say about that saying...unless Im constantly on the beach, id be far from comfortable to have sand in my shoes all the time...as for the dollar...ok, I won't get too picky on that one...much better than an empty pocket ;-)

the stamp was issued in 2013 in a set of 6 stamps representing the Royal Police Force Band.
