Trier, Germany

A private swap, and a new UNESCO card :)))))))

On the card you can see the Trier Cathedral (The Cathedral of St.Peter) which is a Roman Catholic church that dates back to Roman times and is home to the Holy Tunic, a garment that presumably goes back to the robe that Jesus was wearing when he died. It is only exhibited every few decades, at irregular intervals. It represents the oldest cathedral in Germany and since 1986 it has been on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
