Public Housing, Singapore

Next comes an official card from Singapore...

SG-117785

I love this card due to its lovely colours...such a cool area of buildings!
What I am wondering though is if these are those kind of typical buildings with the so-called shoe-box apartments..cos more and more often when I come across housing issues in Asia (esp. China, Hong Kong and Singapore), they show you this really unbelievable pictures of people living in teeny tiny apartments in such poor conditions...then some other examples show you some practical architecture solutions of how to use space most efficiently...well, whichever these buildings on the card are, on the outside they surely look extra cool!
Unfortunately this extra cool card is one of those that have suffered a coffee incident, but you cant really notice it here :)

the stamp is from a set of 8 fauna stamps, called "Life in the Pond", issued in 2011...this one here shows a Black Marsh Terrapin.
