Mahé, Seychelles

And here is the new country for today.....77!!!! Ha! I think im gonna manage to get to 100 soon....or my aims are too high?
And this a written and stamped card from the Seychelles themselves!!

In particular, here you can see Mahé, which is the largest island of the Seychelles (155 km²) lying in the north east of the nation.
Mahé was first visited by the British in 1609 and not visited by Europeans again until Lazare Picault's expedition of 1742. Mahé remained a French possession until 1812, when it became a British colony. It remained a colony until 1976 when Seychelles became an independent nation.

Thank You Brigitte for this card!

I would love to go here and relax. I've read about it before. It looks like a beautiful place.
