Torres, Brazil

Well, while we are still at the Americas, lets move south and visit this, particularly interesting place in Brazil

Here, you have a view of the rock formations of the Guarita Beach in Torres. The walls on the left are about 30m high and are of basaltic stones. Behind the stones, there is a track on which one can follow until the top of the rocks to get a nice view of the ocean.

Torres is a small town of 31.000 inhabitants, located on the south shore of Brazil in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, 197 km away from the state's capital, Porto Alegre.

These kind of formations have always been interesting to me....lets not mention how i like the view and all :)
