Penang, Malaysia

A card from Malaysia

It shows a night scene of the Kek Lok Si Temple during the Chinese New Year.
Since 1891, Kek Lok Si Temple is known as the jewel in the crown of heritage temples in Malaysia and has been identified as one of the largest and finest temple complexes in South-east Asia.

Ive always found it odd that not everyone celebrates New Year as we do....mainly coz of the concept that the New Year (which btw, i DONT like at all) signifies the beginning of something new...so its always been a bit hard to grasp that while we celebrate that, some people dont...and that actually they do it once ive completely forgotten of the New Year's Eve left behind us and all....thats whats amazing with this big big world....we are so much alike yet so differeent...
